Dear Dee,
I was drifting along on the afternoon breeze when I spotted them - a mum, a dad, and their tiny explorer between them. No plan, no hurry, just three pairs of feet heading along the path.
The dad glanced up as I fluttered overhead. For just a moment, our paths crossed - he smiled, then looked back down at the little one between them. I watched the tiny toddler lean into their hands, taking in the world with wide‑eyed wonder - and long may it continue.
I send them flutters in hope that their wonder always stays wide and bright.
Yours,
Flutterby
