Dear Friend,
Today I accompanied my human to our regular Afternoon Tea for Two. She was so elegantly dressed in her big hat and padded‑shoulder suit, sipping from a tiny cup with her little finger pointed skyward.
I sat politely at her feet, as any well‑mannered companion does - and, after some time, in a moment of great sophistication, she carefully and discreetly wrapped a ham sandwich for me in her napkin. I knew she would.
We are now home, enjoying our second Afternoon Tea for Two - and the ham is delicious. I do so look forward to our tea for two.
